"Can you believe
they wanted to call
it
highway
crossing frog?"
- William Farrel as The Architect in MTV's "The Architect's Dialogue"

okay, that was random.

anyways, sometimes I feel in life, like I'm that frog in the slowly heating vat of water. The story goes that if you put a frog in water and heat it slowly, it will not notice it getting too hot and will just die from the boiling water before noticing to jump out.

Today, the high in Palo Alto was 97 degrees! I didn't notice how it was affecting my mood in such a dramatic way until I started yelling at customer support for not getting my Sierra Wireless AirCard.

This applies to me in other situations as well, like relationships. I can't tell I'm suffering so much sometimes before it's too late.
