I'm curious, what should one do if found in a situation like this. If you've made this hoopla about running for presidency and a few months down the road, you find out that it looks like you're not going to win, what should you do? Should you keep on spending your time campaigning, just to show you're not a "quitter?" But what about the campaign volunteers? If they knew that you felt you weren't going to win anyways, wouldn't you have some sort of responsibility to tell them "sorry guys, go home?" I would hate to be in one of those positions. Fortunately these pols are actors so they can say whatever they want, even if it's not backed by their beliefs or passions.
