On May 1st, many thousands took to the streets to protest immigration reform. Just the weekend prior to that, another large gathering took to the desert to demonstrate their love of music.
Fundaciones is a photo essay on the substantial proportion of Coachella fans who just so happen to be Latino. While many came from Los Angeles and San Diego, some traveled from as far away as Mexicali, Chicago, and Paris.
