Incidentally, the story mentions a novel written by Heather, which the narrator says has been accepted by a Toronto publisher. That novel, "Adam's Peak," is now out. I agree with your well put observations about living for the moment. Perhaps, after all, you should consider testing out academics with a few philosophy courses.
