We will be ancient someday

It's interesting to confront ourselves with the idea that there will be a time in the future when we will be lumped together with Ancient civilizations as also being ancient. For example, "Ancient Americans were known for their innovations and perpetual warlike state."

I think I also thought of this because his name is Oscar Pistorius, which sounds Greek-like to me, which made me think of Pheidippides, the ancient Greek hero who ran from Marathon to Athens in two days.
